Kingswood Manor, located in the heart of leafy Surrey, was once a stately home and has a fascinating history dating back to the late 19th century. It has been owned by a marquess, the daughter of a Baron and, rumor has it, the Sultan of Brunei. The building and surrounding grounds have an impressive grandeur about them with the history of the property preserved in the huge open fireplace, wood panelling and intricate Georgian architraves. All sorts of modern luxuries have been added while staying true to the original character of the building. Relax in your luxurious bedroom before an extravagant meal in one of the ornate dining rooms followed by a stroll in the gardens.
The many amenities and luxurious rooms at Kingswood Manor make it a fantastic location for all kinds of trips and events, from extravagant weddings to luxurious retreats with family and friends. There are a range of bedrooms and suits available, to suit a range of guests whether you’re here for a big celebration or a quiet weekend escape. The sumptuous Bridal Suite is complete with an elegant four-poster king-size French bed and stunning views, while the Honeymoon Suite is a romantic, intimate room with a large velvet bed and chaise longue beneath the window.
There are a range of double and twin size rooms to suit all kinds of parties in the main house. The rooms are all elegantly furnished with beautiful bedframes, premium duvets and ensuite bathrooms. Each has its own distinct character with unique furnishings and colour schemes. There’s also a cosy cottage next door to the main house if you need space for more guests. Here you’ll find plenty of space for up to six guests along with kitchen facilities.
Kingswood Manor is located on the edge of the village of Lower Kingswood, just north of the Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. This means you’ll have plenty of opportunities to get outdoors and explore the rolling hills and pretty woodland the area is known for. Close to the house, you’ll find Margery Wood with its carpet of bluebells, or you could hike to the top of Colley Hill and be rewarded with spectacular views. Just a little further south, you’ll find Buckland Park Lake, a 50 acre lake with open water swimming and stand-up paddleboarding on offer. It’s also surrounded by walking trails, dramatic cliffs and plenty of flora and fauna.
