  The Detail...

The striking Ispoyntel House in St Ives combines a minimalist aesthetic with eco-credentials. Just 10 minutes walk from the town and beach, the house is modern and open plan, with plenty of natural light a delightfully contemporary choice for a break on the North Cornwall coast.

Inside, youll find a large living and dining area which has underfloor heating. A comfortable seating area and glass-topped dining table are found close to the kitchen area which blends in unobtrusively.

Patio doors lead you straight out to the terrace with its own seating and dining spaces, and a barbecue. You have all sorts to keep you entertained, with a TV, blue-ray DVD player, music system and Wi-Fi all available.

The house has three bedrooms which can accommodate up to six guests. The double bedroom features a king-size bed and an ensuite shower room, while bedroom two has a zip and link bed which can be configured as a super king size bed or two singles. Finally, there is a single bedroom. All of the bedrooms have built-in wardrobes and bedside cabinets. There is also another bathroom with a bath and overhead shower.

With beautiful St Ives just a short walk from the house, you will be in the perfect position to make the most of the town. Head for Porthminster Beach for amazing surfing or scenic walks on the white sands.

The town is perhaps best-known for its art scene and, in addition to the famous Tate St Ives, there are numerous small galleries dotted around. The Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden, another big draw for visitors, is little more than 10 minutes from Ispoyntel House.

The delights of the Penwith Heritage Coast stretch for miles to the west of St Ives, and its an easy drive to Cornwalls southern coast too you can reach Penzance and Marazion, for St Michaels Mount, in 20-25 minutes.
