Nestled in the midst of the fabulous North York Moors, this charming stone cottage is in an idyllic location, surrounded by stunning scenery. The combination of breath taking views and a wonderfully relaxing interior makes Innkeeper’s Cottage the perfect place for a tranquil, countryside escape for two.
Stepping through the traditional, stable-style front door into the characterful cottage, you’ll find yourself in the restful living area. Tastefully decorated in calming colours, the light and airy space is cleverly divided into three sections for cooking, dining and relaxing.
In the homely lounge area, your eye will be drawn to the beautiful inglenook with wood burner. This rustic centrepiece will keep you cosy on chilly evenings, as you relax on the sumptuous sofa or snuggle up on the cosy loveseat.
The contemporary kitchen area has been carefully designed to maximise the space and make preparing a meal as easy as pie. With top of the range appliances and a useful central island, it’s a pleasant spot to chat over a morning coffee or enjoy an aperitif while dinner’s in the oven. The dining area boasts a lovely, wooden table with beautiful, intricate carvings, and comfortable, upholstered dining chairs for leisurely dining.
When bedtime beckons, head to the luxurious French-style master suite with its super king sized bed, elegant furnishings and serene décor. Here you can enjoy scenic views across the Moor in the morning and stargaze into the dark sky at night. The bedroom also boasts a luxury ensuite with a walk-in rain shower and double vanity basins.
Outside this calming oasis, you’ll find a grassy terrace with an outdoor table and chairs. With far reaching views across the rolling moorland, it’s an idyllic spot to enjoy a sundowner or an alfresco feast.
Set within a National Park, Innkeeper’s Cottage is ideally located for hikers and bikers. Scenic walks across the Moor and picturesque cycle routes are literally on your doorstep and there are leafy woodlands to discover nearby. The pretty village of Osmotherly, where you’ll find village stores, gastro pubs and a fish and chip shop, is just a mile away and the picture postcard market town of Helmsley, with its castle, microbrewery and award-winning shops and restaurants is a 16 mile drive.
