You should know

• The casita rental INCLUDES the entire property, with the exception of access to the main house. The main house is NEVER rented separately or to another family when the casita is rented.

• You're located a five to seven minute walk from the beach and it is a short five-minute drive north for surfing.

The detail

Set on Mexico’s Pacific Coast between the famous beaches and the Sierra de la Laguna Mountains, Hidden Leaf Baja is a peaceful escape on a private estate. Tucked away from the lively streets of Todos Santos, the estate features two homes surrounded by two acres of desert gardens. There’s the Main House and a Casita around a shared pool, perfect for groups travelling together who want a balance between socialising and their own space. You’ll be able to stroll down to the beach in the mornings before a leisurely swim in the pool. During the heat of the day retreat to the hammock in the shade of the palm trees before enjoying the spectacular sunsets from the roof terrace. After dinner, gather round the sunken fire pit in the garden and stargaze late into the evening.

The Main House and the Casita are centred around the outdoor heated saltwater pool. Spend lazy afternoons relaxing by the water, enjoying the occasional dip in the pool or the jacuzzi. There’s also a swim up bar and grill area should you fancy a snack or perhaps even a cocktail. The ground level of the Main House opens up onto an outdoor living and dining area so you’ll be able to fully embrace the outdoor lifestyle.

Both houses also have rooftop areas with beautiful views. The Main House has a lounge with plenty of shade and a large dining table. Enjoy a coffee early in the morning as the sun rises over the mountains to the east or sip a glass of wine in the evening as the sun sets over the sea. You’ll be able to cook up here too, thanks to the fully-equipped outdoor kitchen with a fridge, sink and grill. The Casita has lounge seating on its roof deck with a built-in fireplace making it a lovely spot to sit out in the evening and stargaze.

The Main House has two queen bedrooms, both with ensuites. There’s also a large kitchen which opens out onto the living room and large dining space. You can open up this space even further by opening the sliding doors and extending the living space outside. The Casita has another two bedrooms, a queen and a king with ensuite bathrooms, as well as its own open-plan kitchen, living and dining area. It also has its own private courtyard, perfect for a moment of peace and quiet all to yourself.

Hidden Leaf Baja is located on the coast of Mexico’s Baja California Peninsula in the town of Todos Santos. The town is one of Mexico’s famous Pueblos Magicos, or ‘magical towns’, recognised by the government for its rich history and beauty. The vibrant town is popular with artists and creatives with music and art festivals held every year. The area is also famous for its surfing and beautiful beaches, some of which you can walk to in a matter of minutes from the house. If you’re visiting in the winter, you’ll have a great opportunity to spot some gray whales or humpback whales and boat trips out to see them can be arranged in the town.
