The detail

Surrounded by wildflower meadows, in pretty farmland on the Yorkshire and Lancashire border, Hedgerow Glamping offers guests peace and tranquility in luxurious pods.

These king sized timber pods each have their own private patio. Settle in with a book, a mug of tea and large cushion and while-away the hours, listening to the cattle moo and watching the butterflies flutter in the breeze.

Alternatively, hop into the hot tub, sink into the bubbles and absorb the tranquility of the surroundings.

When it's time to eat, step into the large open plan studio-style space and discover the fabulous kitchen, modern and well-equipped with everything required to put together romantic dinners for two and long lazy brunches.

All pods have barbecues and outdoor furniture where guests can enjoy supper while watching the sunset. Enjoy a sundowner to the sound of the birds twittering in the trees before heading to the glamorous bedroom area.

King-sized beds, some four poster, have high quality mattresses and luxurious linens. Pretty bedding and soft furnishings have been used to great affect, creating a pop of colour against the all-timber interior. There is plenty of storage space for stashing belongings, great lighting and plenty of plug-in points (including USBs).

The ensuite bathrooms are equally glamorous with walk-in showers, fluffy towels and complimentary high-end toiletries. If you want an added slice of luxury, why not pop over to the wellness lodge. This relaxing space has an outdoor shower and a sauna meaning you can sit back and unwind in style.

Should guests run low on anything, the site has a handy artisan shop which stocks all the things you'll need plus a range of tasteful bits and pieces, including gifts, logs, barbecues, and other essentials.

And, after collecting fresh eggs from the hen hut, be sure to say hello to some of the farm's residents which include six alpacas and some incredibly cute black nose Swiss sheep.

There are plenty of places to discover in the local area including Gin School at a nearby distillery, several award-winning spas and some fabulous restaurants. Holmes Mill at Clitheroe, The White Bull at Gisburn and Elsworth Kitchen at Skipton all come highly-recommended.
