With its stunning period features, high ceilings and wood burner, the Coach House provides a spacious and comfortable accommodation for up to eight people. You can admire the views of the estate from the cobbled forecourt, the walled gardens or the lawn, and enjoy the privacy and tranquility of this unique setting.
The Coach House's history as the estate's original coach and horse shelter adds a unique charm, with its cobbled forecourt and arched wooden doors setting the scene for a memorable stay. The spacious sitting room, with its exposed beams and wood-burning stove, invites relaxation and social gatherings.The large kitchen/dining room is fully equipped for your culinary adventures with granite work tops, dishwasher, two ovens, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and all the utensils you'll need. It is perfect for casual dining and festive meals. When you arrive, you will find a complimentary welcome hamper with milk, bread, butter, eggs, juice, wine and other essentials to make a light snack or breakfast.
The four double bedrooms can accommodate eight people. Three of the bedrooms can be configured to sleep either two individuals or a couple and there is a cot for an infant. The house has three private garden areas: a lovely covered terrace bordering onto the south-facing lawn with beautiful views over the estate garden, a walled garden with a garden room and a cobbled courtyard ideal for alfresco dining in the evening – all wonderful places to socialise, relax and unwind.
The New Forest is a paradise for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts, with its country pubs, horse-riding, bike-riding and walking trails. You will be amazed by the wildlife and scenery of the forest. Heathfield Coach House is on the Heathfield Estate which covers 14 acres and has a rural feel, but it is also close to both the city and the coast.
