  The Detail...

Set within the charming village of Finghall, Wensleydale in the Yorkshire Dales, Hare Cottage is a divine self-catering cottage with two double bedrooms, boasting a wide range of high-end amenities. With its own enclosed garden space and two en-suite double bedrooms, Hare Cottage is the perfect lodging for friends, families, and pairs of couples looking to get away from it all and spend some restorative time in one of the most gorgeous areas of England.

The main living space in Hare Cottage has high ceilings, beautiful exposed timber rafters, and a floor to ceiling French window which looks over the garden and down onto the Yorkshire Dales beyond. This room is beyond cosy, with underfloor heating installed below the wood floors, an abundance of soft furnishings and blankets, and even a wood-burning stove to ensure maximum hygge during your stay. Next door, the kitchen has been fitted with everything you need to make cooking and dining a treat, including a Nespresso machine and dishwasher in addition to the standard culinary amenities. There is even a washing machine to ensure that no matter how muddy you get on the footpaths of the Dales, youre ready to hit the trail again in the morning.

A super-king and king-sized bedroom each have their own private en-suite bathroom, making this a perfect choice for double couples. The rooms are spacious, and one of them can be made up as twin singles, allowing multiple different guest configurations to be put up comfortably. In addition to a claw-foot rolltop bath tub, the height of decadence, both bathrooms also benefit from underfloor heating.

As you step out of living room into the garden you can feel the stresses and frustrations of urban life slip away, and with a wood-heated hot tub, dining furniture, a raised patio and barbecue out there, there is no reason to go back inside! The Yorkshire Dales enjoy a reputation for offering some of the finest walking and landscape views in England, with visitors flocking from all over the world, and many of Britains most celebrated writers and artists drawing inspiration from the plunging, dramatic hills. If striding up slopes and taking in the country air isnt for you, between the multitude of locally run businesses, unspoiled original architecture, and excellent Yorkshire sourced food, theres bound to be something to delight you. The closest pub, The Queens Head, is just a few hundred yards down the road, and does brilliant gastropub fare and remarkable local beers.
