The detail

The property is part of Blossom Farm Cottages, a small selection of lovely quiet cottages that offer access to acres of landscaped gardens, wild meadows and lakes. Relax and unwind in this lovely slice of nature that's home to plenty of wildlife and birds. There are lots of great spots for picnics and designated areas for BBQs where you can spend the evening stargazing around one of the two fire pits. The property would be ideal for couples, friends or a small family holiday in gorgeous surroundings.

Foxglove is cosy and welcoming with oak beams, a mezzanine floor and an open plan living area with a lounge and kitchen that is spacious and inviting. The kitchen is fully fitted with blue tiled walls and dark wood giving it a cabin in the woods vibe. There's a dining table that comfortably sits four where you can laze away the evening over a long supper with plenty of wine. Or fix a breakfast and make plans for the day.

There are two bedrooms, one king size with an ensuite shower, and a twin room. Both offer comfortable mattresses and luxurious crisp linens to ensure a good night's sleep. The rooms are both light and airy with pale soothing walls and little touches of colour in the soft furnishings making them feel homely.

There is a family bathroom with a bath offering the perfect place to relax and unwind after day exploring the local area. Both bathroom and shower room are modern and simple, and whilst the home has a rustic charm, the hosts have made sure you'll have all the conveniences you need including a dish washer and a washing machine.

After a peaceful night's rest and a bracing shower, or long lazy bath, head to the kitchen, make that all important first coffee and step out into the sunshine to stroll around the grounds. You're in a haven for wildlife, so keep your eyes peeled for weasels or water voles going about their business.

At the front of the property there is a fully covered area with seating and the fabulous addition of a large jacuzzi hot tub where you might choose to start or end your day in pure luxury.

Your cottage will be situated on the outskirts of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park giving you easy access by car to some of the UK's most stunning beaches. Unspoilt and wonderful for a day out, the hosts recommend Dale, Marloes and Newgale to get you started. You can also pick up the coastal path for a short or long walk and take in some of the stunning scenery. Pembrokeshire is full of quaint and sometimes award winning towns so it's worth bringing a car to make the most of the experience. But if you want to take it easy and just relax with a good book, good company or a good bottle of wine, then you'll find plenty of space at Blossom Farm to do so. Use one of the designated BBQ's, find a picnic spot or grab a blanket and head to the fire pits for an evening of star gazing.

After a day at one of the glorious beaches you might like to treat yourself to fish and chips and you can't do better than Marble Hall Chippie which is just under three miles away. The nearest larger town is Haverfordwest which has supermarkets, shops, cafes, restaurants and bars. Milford Haven is also quite close and is very up and coming with a pretty waterfront boasting shops and restaurants.
