  The Detail...

Perched above the picturesque and verdant Eskdale Valley, The Lambing Shed is a stunning cottage arranged over three storeys, just half a mile from local amenities. Stylishly designed and furnished throughout, The Lambing Shed is the perfect home base for larger groups either exploring Robin Hoods Bay and Whitby for the first time, or retuning once again to once of the most gorgeous regions in all of Britain.

From the moment you step inside The Lambing Shed, youll feel a deep sense of unity with the rolling fields and untouched landscape around you. The views from the main living space on the ground floor, which also benefits from an engineered wood burning stove and television, stretch out over the beautiful Eskdale Valley. From the open plan kitchen and living room, step directly through the French doors and onto your own private patio, where a full size barbecue and all-weather outdoor furniture mean that you can dine al-fresco every night.

To add to the quaint and rustic charm, plumes of steam from the trains to Pickering and Whitby as they trundle past in the valley below. Upstairs on the first floor, two bedrooms with a king-sized bed and twin singles respectively share a family-style shower room and toilet. Keep going up the stairs, and youll find the master bedroom, a spacious and tasteful room with a full en-suite bathroom, together occupying the entirety of the second floor. While all three of the bedrooms have their own television, the master bathroom has a claw-foot tub with jaw-dropping views of the valley below.

While the propertys location makes it the ideal spot for those wanting to get straight out and into the national parks, there are some serious entertainment options for the end of the day too, with a DVD and Blu-Ray enabled television in the main room, which is stocked with DVDs and books for guests to peruse. There is Wi-Fi throughout, naturally, as well as Ipod docks and an Ipad.

Youll be delighted to find that the nearest pub is under half a mile away, where you can some excellent local ales, brilliant food, and a cheering log fire in the colder months. Youre close to the iconic Robin Hoods Bay, historic Whitby, and the town of Sleights is right on your doorstep. Part of the beloved Yorkshire coastline, the immediate area is abundant in smaller shops, excellent local restaurants, and the smaller-town charm which makes exploring the cobbled streets and trying out different bars and cafs so rewarding in this part of Britain. No visit to the Yorkshire coast is complete without a day trip to Staithes, the quintessential seaside town of the Northeast, beloved by locals and visiting writers alike.
