Perched on a sprawling range of hills on the borders of the stunning and picturesque Snowdonia National Park, Elephant View Shepherds Hut is a wonderfully crafted timber tiny home-style space with high end indoors and outside amenities. Packing everything that up to four people need into a cosy and elegant space, Elephant View Shepherds Hut is a dreamy self-catering spot for adventurous couples or families looking to combine the romance and majesty of the Snowdonia region with a genuinely comfortable and luxurious cabin style space.
The house itself is located on a fenced-in space, with views of the rolling hills. As well as the traditional shepherd's hut, the space includes a full outside kitchen with a canopy overhead, a wood fired hot tub, and a versatile pizza oven, as well as a fire globe.
Inside the living space, a combination of exposed wood and painted surfaces has created a homely and comfortable feel, while large windows mean that the space feels light and airy throughout the year.
The hut is laid out with an open plan design, arranged as a large central room with cooking facilities and the kitchen table at one end of the building's length, and the unique double bunks at the other. Light simply pours into the space during the daytime, and from the comfort of the interior you feel at one with the nature witnessed all around. The hut has WiFi throughout and also features a Smart TV with streaming services, meaning you can settle in for a box set marathon or a fab movie night with your loved one.
Despite the outdoorsy aesthetic, Elephant View Shepherds Hut is an extremely comfortable place to stay, with high pressure hot water in the fitted bathroom, full cooking amenities, and an abundance of furniture inside and out. There really is nothing quite like coming home after a long and full day spent exploring Snowdonia and the surrounding environs and taking a lengthy soak in the hot tub before preparing a hearty meal of pizza, and looking forward to an evening of stargazing around the fire bowl.
Despite the feeling of peace and tranquility, the hut is well connected to nearby amenities. As well as dozens of hiking and cycling paths and trails snaking around the area, there is easy access to the Welsh Highland Railway via the nearby village. You're within easy walking distance to an award winning local pub, with brilliant beers and a fantastic atmosphere, and the village shop stocks sundries and staples for your stay. Aside from the spellbinding beauty of Snowdonia itself, you're only a mile and a half from the charming and ancient town of Caernarfon and less than ten miles from the popular beach at Dinas Dinlle.
