Wonderful outdoor spaces with to-die-for views set the scene for El Riberella, a high-quality villa with pool and terrace in the Catalonian countryside
Please note: minimum stay for this property is: 2 nights low season & 7 nights high season
Set in expansive grounds in the Catalan province of Lleida, El Riberella gives you all you could need for an unforgettable holiday. With beautiful views of the Spanish countryside and just 20 minutes’ drive from Solsona, up to 10 guests can enjoy this spectacular holiday home with a large terrace and pool.
This house’s hilltop location provides a magnificent panoramic view from its two terraces. You have a large, covered chillout area with a dining space and a modern outdoor kitchen, and the 9m x 5m swimming pool is suitable for all members of the family, with a children’s section and Roman step access.
For more recreation, there’s a table tennis table, football goals, a volleyball net, and badminton rackets provided for you at El Riberella. There is a small children’s playground with a slide and swings too.
Inside, you have a double bedroom with en suite on the ground floor, as well as a living room and mini-shop where you can buy beer, coffee and other essentials. Upstairs, there’s the attractive modern kitchen equipped with all the appliances you could need, which has its own exit to a small balcony.
A bright, air-conditioned living room on this level also exits onto a large terrace, and provides a relaxing environment to chill out at any time of day. There is also a large indoor dining area in this room.
On the second floor, you have three bedrooms, two of which are triples and one which is a double. Each has its own en suite bathrooms, one with a luxurious claw-foot bath. In total, the house offers five bedrooms and five en suite bathrooms. The considered design of the rooms throughout the house is notable, and no doubt helped by the fact that the owner is the chief designer for a major Spanish fashion brand.
The house is around 55 minutes’ drive from the provincial capital, Lleida. As one of Catalonia’s oldest towns, there is plenty of history to discover, much of it presented through the city’s museums and galleries. The city also hosts folk, jazz and film festivals throughout the year, while regular musical events can be found at the city’s concert hall, the Enric Granados Auditorium.
It’s possible to reach Barcelona in around 90 minutes, with Girona perhaps another 20 minutes further. Nearby Solsona is well worth a visit too – with great restaurants and intriguing attractions like the Ice Well, there’s fun to be had even outside of Carnival season, when the town is taken over by colourful giants.
