Enjoy a contemporary and luxurious haven in the Welsh Valleys at Depot rd. This 5 star conversion of a 1970s chapel in the Afan Valley in South Wales was undertaken by outdoor sports enthusiasts and is perfect for families and groups of any age.

Guests can socialise in the large stylish living room, which has a log burning stove, leather sofas and a bespoke dining table that comfortably seats 12. This space is contemporary, and offers a wonderful place to relax and unwind, in a stylish, comfy setting. After days out exploring the area, cosy nights in can be had thanks to the WiFi, smart TV and kids games. The living area also has double doors which open out onto a private inner courtyard letting in plenty of natural light. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you'll need to cook up some culinary treats for your friends and family including a gas hob, electric oven, microwave and dishwasher.

After coming up the ramp to the front door guests enter into the large foyer leading to a drying and laundry room, separate WC and fridge/freezer. There is also space for 12 bikes and other sports equipment to be stored.

The accommodation all sits on the one ground floor level, with underfloor heated slate flooring throughout. Sleeping 12, there are 3 bedrooms, each with a twin (or double depending on preference) bed and 2 full size fold down bunk beds. The ensuite shower rooms have a power shower and heated towel rail and all 3 bedrooms open out onto yet another private courtyard. This courtyard also has a barbecue, meaning you can enjoy some grilled meats and al fresco dining in summer.

Of course the true selling point of Depot rd is its location, situated as it is in Afan with the stunning Welsh landscape as its backdrop. This is the ideal place for escaping the stresses of everyday life. Take a walk on the Brecon Beacons or up the Black Mountains for fabulous scenery, or visit the award winning beaches of the Gower Peninsula and take a stroll along the coastal paths. Alternatively hire a bike and explore the countryside, or take a guided trail with adventure camping and ski and snowboard opportunities.

Thrill seekers can go gorge walking, coasteering, kayaking, canoeing, mountaineering and rock climbing. Others may prefer Land Rover tours, quad biking, clay pigeon shooting and paintballing, all of which are available right on your doorstep. Wildlife lovers can visit nearby Anna's Welsh Zoo or Folly Farm, while history buffs should check out Kidwelly and Laugharne castles and Lamphey Bishop's Palace.
