The Details...

This exquisite holiday home with a large garden looks out on the mountains of the Brecon Beacons. Ideal for larger groups, Danyfan House can accommodate 10 guests in five beautiful bedrooms, each one as elegant and comfortable as you would wish.??

Theres plenty of charm in the homely living spaces at Danyfan, which include a spacious south-facing conservatory complete with an antique pool table (which you can convert to a ping pong table, or even a dining table). You can enjoy a stunning view of the garden and mountains as you play in this light and airy space.

??The main living room features an open fireplace with lots of comfortable seating around it. You wont be restricted to TV and DVD for entertainment, because theres also a piano, and an inviting library area for curling up with a book for a few hours its separated from the sitting room by folding doors.??

Another spot youll want to enjoy to the full is the colourful kitchen featuring a wood-burning stove and a large dining table. A lovely place to meet up for breakfast or dinner, the kitchen is equipped with a range cooker, dishwasher and fridge. The washing machine and chest freezer are in the utility room, along with space for bikes, muddy boots and wet coats.??

Youre spoilt for choice at bedtime, with five bedrooms featuring antique furnishings and Egyptian cotton bed linen. The master bedroom has an en suite bathroom and a king-size bed, and looks out over farmland and of the mountains.

?With a cast-iron rolltop bath in the en suite, the second bedroom has an original Victorian four-poster bed and pretty views over the valley towards Brecon - the town itself is just a couple of miles away.

Half -way up the first set of stairs is a double bedroom. This shares the family bathroom, with a huge free-standing bath and walk-in shower, with a room which can be set up as a double (super-king sized bed) or a twin room. The final bedroom arguably has the best view in the house. Its on the second floor, with its own bathroom with a freestanding bath. Again, this can be configured as a double or twin room. ??

Great for birdwatching, the gardens are a joy to spend time in, and include seating areas. There is room on the patio outside the conservatory to enjoy a meal too. Danyfan is an easy drive from the market town of Brecon, in the phenomenal Brecon Beacons National Park, and in the foothills of its highest peak, Pen-y-Fan.??

Museums, art galleries and quaint little streets make it a pleasant place to visit, and with a decent selection of cafs and restaurants, a theatre and an independent cinema among its attractions, there is plenty to do there during the day and in the evenings.
