The detail

Big skies and wide reaching views of undulating fields and stunning Monmouthshire countryside, this cottage is an oasis of calm in an area teaming with natural beauty, with plenty of great activities and days out in very easy reach.

The cottage has two bedrooms, a one king-size with en-suite shower room and one twin with the option of a child’s roll up mattress (available on request). The bathroom has a bath, shower and WC located downstairs. Linen, towels, under floor heating and electric, as well as Wi-Fi is included.

A wood burning stove in the sitting room comes with a TV, DVD, large sofa, armchair and heaps of holiday reads and games. There's a separate dining room with an elegant dining table and chairs for meals together as a family or couple. And to keep your toes cosy there's under floor heating downstairs and central heating throughout.

The kitchen comes fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, fridge and freezer, four ring induction hob and oven, microwave, toaster, cafetiere, plus a smart radio.

Outside is a fully fenced rear garden with beautiful views, a BBQ and outdoor seating that's ideal for soaking up the sunshine in summer months.

Sitting between the beautiful Wye Valley and Forest of Dean, with the Black Mountains in easy reach. Walks from the door, including the beautiful old Kilgwrrwg just 20 minutes walk away. Fantastic fishing is available nearby on the River Usk, with day permits available from the local shop.

The Forest of Dean is within easy reach, with Go Ape. Tintern Abbey, Chepstow Castle, or the impressive Roman sites at Caerleon and Caerwent are all accessible by car.
