A driveway leads to the rear of the property, into a delightful dog-friendly large grassed area with far-reaching views overlooking open fields. Steps down to the patio lead in through the back door into the large, welcoming open-plan living space that is perfect for entertaining and gatherings. The dining area boasts a large zinc table with comfortable seating for everyone, perfect for celebrating that special occasion. The dining area is complete with jukebox, traffic lights, robots, a plentiful supply of historic signage and a large union jack sofa which spills nicely into an equally quirky kitchen.
The large and attractive kitchen, with unique touches, is very well-equipped with both an Aga and an electric oven and hob, microwave, American style fridge/freezer, dishwasher and Nespresso coffee machine, washer dryer and also features a bar area and a breakfast bar.
The long black and white hallway takes you into the middle of the chapel into the large lounge which features a baby-grand piano and large comfy leather sofas. Here you can sit back and relax in this cosy and spacious room with a wood burner, making it a perfect space to celebrate as a family or group of friends, compose a hit song or watch a movie on the Smart TV.
Also on the ground floor of the property, are two king size bedrooms along with a spacious family bathroom with bath, separate shower and WC. An amazing wrought iron staircase from the dining area leads you to a twin bedroom (which can be made up as a super king on request) with a sofa bed and stunning wet room complete with waterfall shower and copper bath with floor lighting and WC.
Above the lounge, on a mezzanine floor, you will find the master bedroom with a super-king size bed, a dressing room and en-suite bathroom with a shower over a spa bath and a WC. To the end of the property, in the vestry, there is a further double bedroom accessed up another set of stairs. This room has its own lounge area, basic cooking facilities including a gas hob and fridge, and en-suite shower room and WC. Please note all bedrooms also have a Smart TV.
Outside, to the rear of the property is a large patio area with garden furniture and BBQ, perfect for dining alfresco. There is also about an acre of land overlooking fields, providing the perfect place for adults to sit back and relax, and for children to play in, not to mention ideal for four-legged friends to burn off some steam. There is also additional seating in a separate enclosed garden accessible from the vestry, which is an ideal sun trap to relax, along with a decked sun area where there are wooden sun loungers to catch the evening sun. There is further seating to the front of the house, and private off-road parking for two cars. There is further off-road parking for three cars, accessed via the driveway to the rear of the property.
This property offers direct access to some of the country's most stunning scenery in the Yorkshire Dales and a number of picturesque villages and towns including an easy drive to Harrogate; there is lots to see and do nearby. Local attractions include Ripley Castle, Mother Shiptons Cave and the amazing rock formations of Brimham Rocks. You could explore Knaresborough Castle and Almscliffe Crag, or visit Pateley Bridge, home of England’s oldest sweet shop and the fascinating Nidderdale Museum.
There are plenty of opportunities for fantastic walks through the Nidd Gorge, the Nidderdale Greenway and Yorkshire Dales. Enjoy the Blues Bar in Harrogate, which plays live music every day.
