The highlights

Imagine stirring sunsets, atmospheric campfires and stunning mountain scenes, alongside fresh Farm to Table food, excellent service and deluxe canvas cabins.

Set within a 40 acre private estate, Camp Orenda is an inspiring place where you can spend quality time with loved ones without compromising on comfort. Venture out to explore crystal-clear lakes, rolling mountains and cascading waterfalls or enjoy one of the many tailored activities that are included with your stay. Kayak down the Hudson River or canoe along the pristine Garnet Lake before hiking through the woods or up one of the many dramatic mountain faces.

After a day of exploring, the camp has all you could ask for and more with wonderful shared facilities and an exclusive concierge service. Share stories with your fellow campers and toast s'mores on the fire after enjoying a delicious flame-cooked meal to eat beneath the stars. When you can’t keep your eyes open any longer, sumptuous beds, traditional wood-burning stoves, and thick blankets await in the authentic wood-floored cabins that are dotted around the estate. Hidden deep amongst the towering trees and raised-up off the woodland floor, the cabins are cosy retreats which sleep between 2-4 people. Beautifully handcrafted beds and Adirondack chairs add a unique country character, while electric lights and WIFI access are on hand for added convenience.

Wake up after a toasty night’s sleep and head straight to the backcountry kitchen to enjoy free range eggs, applewood-smoked bacon and freshly-brewed coffee. A refreshing outdoor shower is also on hand to make your morning complete and can be found in a wooden cabin nestled amongst the trees. With lashings of hot water, the rustic outdoor shower is a real camp luxury and is joined by fully-working, flushable toilets in the shared bath house facilities.

Once you’re ready for the day ahead you can grab your homemade packed lunch and your personalised hiking plan and head straight out on another adventure! As well as the all-inclusive on-site activities, white water rafting, rock-climbing and mountain caving can all be arranged along with scavenger hunts and woodland trails for the kids. A yoga platform and massage treatments are also ideal for taking it easy and can help you to feel truly relaxed about your outdoors camping experience!
