The detail
Camber Cottage is a large four bed property, situated moments away from the golden sandy beaches of Camber and all it has to offer. With fun artwork around the property, two TV lounges, a decked garden area to relax in and a games room in the garage, this is the perfect family getaway, with tons to explore close by.
The ground floor of Camber Cottage offers plenty of space for families and friends to socialise together. As you walk into the hallway, there is a seating area with sofas and a small flat screen TV, perfect for teenagers and kids to have their own space to hang out.
A large kitchen is a great space for socialising, with seating for up to eight people. It is well equipped, with an oven, grill and hob, fridge/freezer, and a microwave. A separate utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer, is ideal for getting those sandy and muddy clothes washed after a busy day exploring the local area.
There is a large main lounge, with sofas and a flat screen TV/DVD player, and bi-fold doors leading onto a large, partly decked garden, perfect for relaxing and dining alfresco after a day on the beach. There is a WC on the ground floor too.
Upstairs, there are four bedrooms, the large master bedroom has a king size bed and is complete with an ensuite shower room and built-in wardrobes. The second bedroom is furnished with a double bed, the third with three single beds and a fourth with a single bed, whilst all four bedrooms have space for clothes storage. A large family bathroom has a bath with a shower over and a WC.
Camber Cottage is one of the largest properties on this New England style development and boasts a large double garage, which accommodates a full-sized table tennis table, which will keep the young (and the young at heart) entertained. The garage is also a great place to store all your buckets and spades, wetsuits and surf boards after a day out on Camber Sands.
Camber Sands, a short walk away, boasts one of the most beautiful beaches in Britain, with golden sand and shingle, stretching for near seven miles. Located within 5km of the property is the Grade II listed, 18th century, Lamb House, and its fabulous walled garden, where American novelist Henry James lived for several years.
Rye Harbour Nature Reserve too is close by and has plenty to entertain the kids. After a seaside walk, enjoy the great café and admire the wonderful views across the saltmarsh, shingle and saline lagoons. A short car journey away, is St Mary's Church, Rye, a Grade I listed building because of its architectural and historical interest since 1951.
