Caldecott is a perfect place to call home for those who enjoy rolling countryside and pretty villages. Rutland is perfect for walking, cycling and other outdoor pursuits due to the many footpaths, bridle ways and beautiful countryside. Rutland Water, 8 miles away, offers many different water sports activities, as well as horse riding, golf, nature reserves and footpaths. Rockingham village is 1.5 miles away, where you can visit Rockingham Castle which has over 800 years of history, holding many events throughout the year including Christmas fairs and an open-air cinema. Kirby is a National Trust site with an Elizabethan mansion, peacocks, and extensive gardens. Two miles away is the village of Lyddington which has an ancient Bede House, one of the former palaces of the Bishop of Lincoln.
Stepping into the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner which presents a kitchen space which is a delight to cook in offering an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. Come together around the farmhouse dining table and enjoy a celebration meal. Relax in the lounge with exposed beams, bi fold doors and a warming wood burner. Pop on the TV with Sky Q TV or curl up with a good book. There are three bedrooms on the ground floor, a king-size bedroom, and a twin bedroom with a Jack-and-Jill wet room with shower and WC and a further twin bedroom with an en-suite wet room with shower and WC. Heading upstairs to a king-size bedroom with en-suite bathroom with bath and handheld shower attachment, sink and WC.
Outside there is a decking area with seating to enjoy the most out of the wonderful views. The hot tub is tucked in a private corner for ultimate seclusion. There is off road parking for four cars.
