The detail

Situated in the north of the island, between San Carlos and Santa Eulalia, this area boasts beautiful, sandy beaches, a palm-lined promenade and some of the island’s best restaurants. Perfect for families looking for an authentic Spanish experience, with delicious food and quieter beaches. The villa is also a convenient 21kms from the airport.

Nestled in the quiet, green hills, with the scent of pine trees in the air, the villa makes for a perfect retreat from the busyness of day-to-day life. Let the long driveway guide you to this 300 year old villa, which is styled simply with white washed walls and stone floors throughout. Inside the house you’ll step into a dining room with space for your whole family to eat together. An adjacent kitchen boasts every modern convenience, including that essential coffee machine. Take your pick of six bedrooms, all with air-conditioning and all with their own private bathroom. Three of the rooms also benefit from a king-sized bed, perfect for ensuring a good night’s sleep.

Outside you’ll find everything you and your party will need to enjoy the weather, with a spacious swimming pool to cool off in, a BBQ and a kitchen to cook up Spanish style feasts and sun loungers aplenty for you all to top up your tans. As dusk falls why not sip Sangria from the terrace as you admire the view below. Or come morning, the three standing Buddhas that gaze peacefully onto the villa’s terrace, make for a relaxed spot for a session of meditation or yoga to start your day.

Locally, the beaches offer boat trips round the coast, snorkelling spots and scuba diving lessons. On land, look out for local markets including two well-known ‘hippy markets’ that kids will love for the delicious food and home-made trinkets; make sure you visit in the evening for the full, colourful experience. For more exclusive shopping try Santa Eulalia, where you can also visit art galleries, the yacht marina and of course take a walk on that very picturesque promenade.
