Idyllically situated in close proximity to many of Cornwall's most beautiful beaches, Broom Park makes the perfect spot for family breaks and get togethers with friends. However, the property is so spectacular, visitors would be forgiven for never stepping beyond the stunning two acres of grounds. Meander along the private driveway, through the expansive gardens, and prepare to be wowed by this stunning country house.
Built from local stone, with a slate roof and large sash windows, this lovely property offers uninterrupted views across the pretty grounds and beyond, to the delightful Cornish countryside.
Step inside and the interior is equally as impressive. A large kitchen stands at the heart of the house, modern, yet traditional in style, this well equipped room offers everything chefs require to create wonderful feasts for all. A large dining room can be found adjacent with a dining table big enough for ten and perfect for games nights. French patio doors let in natural light and lead out onto one of the outdoor terraces, where guests can take in the morning sunshine over a coffee and a croissant. Or take time out in the sitting room, curl up on one of the comfy sofas and settle in with a box set or good book.
One of the nicest features of this property is that it feels like a home and that's because it was one. The atmosphere is welcoming and cosy with all the special touches that elevate the experience to excellent. Hand-picked pieces of original art cover the walls, there is an incredibly well-stocked library and classic, vintage furniture is complemented by a modern colour scheme to great effect. Cosy rugs lie on original wooden floors and scatter cushions and throws adorn comfy sofas and armchairs. There are five bedrooms in total with the principal bedroom having its own en suite, and a handy en suite on the ground floor, perfect for those who like their own space.
Outside there is a wealth of options for dining, lounging and playing. The grounds are so large that they suit all, whether guests are seeking a family game of rounders or a quiet corner to enjoy some peace and quiet. And when it's time to explore, the local area has it all. Magnificent beaches, pretty fishing villages, coastal walks and cosy pubs. The Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan are a short drive away and when stomachs start to rumble head to nearby Mevagissey, The Salamander serves locally sourced food and Cornish wines, try some good ales at The Fountain Inn or seafood platters at The Harbour Tavern.
