  The Detail...

Boutique 39 is a luxurious and authentic self-catering home which sleeps four people between its two bedrooms. This wonderful home has a gorgeous double frontage and its front door opens into a living room characterised by farmhouse-style architecture, mustard walls, and an original stone fireplace that's now home to a cheery wood-burning stove.

Abounding in spacious and tasteful seating, as well as cooking and living areas both inside and out, Boutique 39 really is the dream accommodation. It makes a fantastic option for friends, groups of couples, and families looking to spend some time in serious comfort exploring Gods own country.

Step from the living room, with its large television and soft furniture, into the kitchen, where youll find a professional standard range which even the most dedicated amateur chefs will find impressive. The coffee machine and NutriBullet ensure that your time in Yorkshire will be without culinary compromise. In this versatile room, with its island set-up and sociable atmosphere, theres even a sound system to enjoy while you prepare a communal meal in style. This space, with its subtle and successful blend of traditional and more contemporary aesthetics, even includes a dishwasher, washing machine and dryer, making sure that time spent doing domestic chores is now time spent up in the national park, or enjoying a glass of wine in front of the woodburning stove.

Head upstairs and youll find the bedrooms, distinct in personality yet matched in decadence and dcor. The first has a decidedly French style, with a king sized bed and exposed beams overhead, all orientated towards the chocolate-box village splayed out below. Equally impressive and with a similar sized bed, the other room looks out over the back of the cottage towards the Dales, from a room characterised by subtle elegance, like the grey velvet headboard on the antique bed. Both bedrooms benefit from televisions, and the one in the second bedroom is even equipped with a games console. Continue up the stairs for what many people consider the stand out feature of the cottage, a truly remarkable bathroom with freestanding copper tub and monsoon shower. Next door, a self-contained wetroom ensures that therell be no rush to get the benefit of the excellent water pressure after a long days hike.

This region of Yorkshire is a well-kept secret among those who frequent it. With staggering hillscapes and dramatic, rolling topography of green and granite, there is truly nowhere else quite like it. East Whitton is a wonderful place for those with an interest in interesting medieval architecture, local beers in family-run country pubs, and a culture of remarkable cuisine.
