Choose from one of two splendid yurts, nestled among the wildflowers, on a small organically managed nature reserve. This well designed glamping getaway is just 10 minutes from the historic town of Glastonbury and enjoys sweeping views across the ancient Vale of Avalon and the iconic Glastonbury Tor.
The peaceful wildflower meadow is a haven for wildlife - you can spot an array of birds and butterflies and if you're sharp eyed, even the endangered great crested newt. This tranquil, magical spot lets you wind down, relax and reconnect with the natural world.
With only two yurts on the site, each has privacy, plus plenty of character. These spacious handcrafted yurts measure 6 meters across, and are a real mix of eclectic finds and vintage furnishings. The four-poster beds and gorgeous antique furniture have a regal touch, while the snug wood burner, kitchen and private bathroom facilities provide all the home comforts you need for a truly luxurious escape.
The location in South West England has a range of beautiful countryside to explore, from the Mendip Hills and Somerset levels - which you can be see from the site - to the Shapwick RSPB reserves. It's an area steeped in history, myth and legend, from the King Arthur legends of Glastonbury Tor to the enchanting Glastonbury Abbey, which dates to the 7th century. And after a day of exploring, there's nothing better than dinner and a drink or two in one of the fabulous local country pubs and restaurants found in the nearby towns of Glastonbury and Fleet.
Bristol Airport is 23 miles - approx a 40 minute drive
