With direct views over the sea and the water at the doorstep, this modern Hayling Island retreat is the ideal spot for relaxing with family and friends. The sea is a short stroll around the building and guests can run straight into the water for morning swims, paddle boarding or perhaps just a toe-dip and sun bathe. But, should the weather turn chilly or wet, guests can enjoy the views from the warmth and comfort of the house.
Head to the modern kitchen which is well-equipped for producing lovely meals to be enjoyed at the large dining table. A wall of windows lies at the far end of the room and a large, squishy corner sofa provides plenty of space to chill and gaze out to the horizon. Perhaps, head onto the large balcony for cocktails at sunset. Views stretch out across the sea to the horizon and down the coast to popular Portsmouth. Relax on the outdoor furniture and reflect on the day.
For evenings full of fun and games, make the most of the versatile dining table which converts to a pool table and a ping pong table too. Or maybe, relax with a drink and settle in for a movie on the 80 inch television.
At bedtime, there are three stylish bedrooms, all following the clean and crisp colour scheme which permeates throughout the house. Plush grey carpets keep feet cosy and the beds, a king size, a double and one set of bunks, all have quality mattresses, snuggly duvets and crisp, white linens.
Beachfront is just a short stroll from the action of Hayling Island with its tourist train, fun fair, bars and restaurants. But the area has a strong military history and the World War II heritage trail is a great way to see the major historical landmarks. Portsmouth, a short train or bus ride away, hosts the famous Mary Rose, Henry VIII's Tudor warship, and The Victory, Admiral Nelson's ship. After a day of beach dwelling, exploring history and riding rollercoasters, head to the Inn on the Beach for a supper with sea views.
