Turn off the phone, leave the laptop at home, relax and enjoy five star living in the foothills of Northern Ireland's largest mountain range. Barn Lane is home to two properties, No 1 and The Garden Rooms. They were designed by their architect owners and offer everything you could require for a holiday to remember.

No 1 is the larger of the two properties, sleeping up to seven people in three double bedrooms. Step into the open plan living and dining area you will be greeted with fabulous views courtesy of the wonderful full height glazing. Watch the cattle graze in the fields while you bask in the light which floods the room through the feature windows. Walk through glass doors into the modern kitchen, equipped with everything you need to cook up a feast. There is a dining table in the living room for late nights and cooler days but, weather permitting, why not take supper al fresco on one of the home's two pretty outdoor terraces?

Deep leather sofas invite you to sink in and cuddle up with loved ones to catch up on a box set or turn off and simply lie back and watch the flames flicker in the wood burner. There is a choice of three double bedrooms. The master boasts a king sized bed, an en suite bathroom and views to keep you in bed all morning. The second bedroom has a double bed which can be split into two twins, there is an additional bathroom on the same floor. The third bedroom is on the ground floor. Exposed walls give it it's name - The Stone Room. As with all the bedrooms, it is stylish, modern and luxurious with deep inviting beds dressed with fresh, white linen. There is a further shower room on the ground floor level.

The Garden Rooms is the owner's most recent addition, completed in 2018. Stylish and comfortable, you will be wowed from the moment you step onto the stone floors and into the bright open-plan living/dining and kitchen area. There are two bedrooms, one, on the ground floor, has a double bed furnished with white linen and bright pops of colour. A downstairs shower room, with rainfall shower, features an exposed brick wall and is stylish and contemporary.

Upstairs is the master bedroom. An upholstered sleigh bed takes centre stage, lie back and gaze directly out onto the wonderful views. Or admire the scenery from the comfort of the freestanding roll top bath - you won't want to get out. Step outside onto the raised terrace set amongst the lush gardens and enjoy a morning coffee, whilst being inspired by the views of Lough Foyle and the Donegal Hills beyond.

Foodies will enjoy a meal at Roe Park Hotel, which boasts two restaurants, Greens and The Coach House brasserie. And the house is well located for exploring some of Northern Islands most popular spots - the Giant's Causeway is 40 minutes away, Derry is 30 minutes away and it is 20 minutes drive to the ferry to Inishowen.
