For those seeking a peaceful countryside retreat with easy access to stunning beaches and beautiful rural vistas, look no further than An Chy Gwyn. This Victorian renovation seamlessly blends laid-back charm with a chic, modern aesthetic to create a space that will leave you feeling totally at home. The property comes with free parking, is dog friendly, boasts its own garden and sleeps up to six guests across three spacious bedrooms. All of this makes this beautiful bolt-hole the ideal retreat for groups of friends and family alike.
The apartment comprises the first floor of a coastal Victorian villa and has been lovingly refurbished and considerately decorated, with all mod cons and a tranquil colour palette throughout. The main communal area is light, bright and open plan. The living area has two comfortable couches and a snug leather armchair, all orientated around a cosy wood burner. From the window are far-reaching views across the fields.
The smart, bespoke kitchen features quartz worktops and handsome slate-grey cabinets. It comes fully equipped with high-spec appliances, perfect for rustling up a lazy breakfast or preparing a full family meal. Between the kitchen and living area is a dining table with seating for six.
The property has three bedrooms, each offering a peaceful night's sleep on deep deluxe mattresses and soft bed linen. Two of the rooms boast king size beds, while the third is a twin. All rooms come with their own flat screen TV, generous storage and tranquil country views to wake up to in the morning. The apartment has two lovely bathrooms: one site opposite the master bedroom, and has a walk-in rain shower, light-up mirror and WC, while the family bathroom with its smart blue tiles has all of this plus a luxurious standalone bathtub.
Outside, guests can enjoy the communal courtyard or the private garden which has outdoor seating and a built-in barbeque - perfect for al fresco dining on warm sunny afternoons.
Porthcurno comprises a small valley village along with some beautiful coastlines and its famed beach. It also sits 2.5 miles from Land's End - the most westerly point of mainland England. For a taste of urban life why not head just over 6 miles east to Penzance. This charming seaside town has a raft of things to see and do including its many shops, bars, and restaurants. It is also noteworthy for its many styles of architecture, the gorgeous promenade, and the nearby sub-tropical Morrab Gardens. For those wishing to venture a little further, you're spoil for choice by the Cornish countryside with its nature trails, cycle routes, arresting rugged coastal views and pretty beaches.
