This 1960s Airstream has been lovingly refurbished and is perfect for a quirky, romantic getaway. The Airstream campervan sits in a quiet garden and its proximity to the beach makes it ideal for morning swims and sunset strolls. The stay is complete with a bespoke sauna room for a luxurious, spa-like experience.
Instantly recognisable from its distinctive shape and chrome exterior, the Airstream really is an American icon. This unique find has been beautifully restored and fitted with modern amenities but still retains its retro feel and charm – with a vintage record player to complete the nostalgic vibe.
The interior is surprisingly spacious and has a well-equipped kitchenette, where you can whip up a light snack and keep your favourite tipple chilling in the fridge. At one end is a cosy dining table to share a meal, and at the other is a comfy double bed, where after a sound night’s sleep you can wake up to the gentle sounds of the waves. If the temperature drops, there is a heater to warm the van and there is also WiFi to keep connected.
Outside is the private shingled garden, where guests can fire up the barbecue and dine alfresco in the sun. You’ll also find the detached block with a shower room, toilet and sauna.
The Airstream is literally steps from a lovely pebble beach. Extremely quiet and boasting stunning views across the channel, it’s perfect for long walks, especially in the early evening sunshine. Bikes can also be arranged for hire, a great way to discover the area.
A brief stroll down a scenic coastal path leads to the charming village of Kingsdown, which has several excellent pubs that serve up great beer and even better fish and chips. The vibrant seaside towns of Walmer and Deal are around a 20-minute walk north, both with a wide array of traditional pubs, independent shops and excellent eateries. Walmer Castle is well worth a visit, a historic Tudor fortress with eight acres of magnificent gardens to explore. Further afield is the town of Dover and its famous White Cliffs, with miles of footpaths and breathtaking views.

Our base price is £150 in weekdays (Sun-Thurs) to a maximum of £190 per night Friday and Saturday. There is a 35% discount for full week bookings.
