This wonderfully stylish handmade hideaway is less than a mile from Three Cliffs Bay, and is ideal for a seaside escape to the spectacular Gower Peninsular. Eirlys, which means ‘snowdrop’ in Welsh, is a fab little cabin beautifully equipped for a couple or small family. Sleeping up to four guests in two bedrooms, the cabin sits on the landscaped gardens of the owner's estate but is privately situated away from the house on a lower level. With its own secluded area of woodland, you have nothing but the trees and birds for company.
The cabin has been beautifully presented and attractively decorated throughout. There is also a collection of delightful furnishings from the bespoke handmade kitchen to the collection of paintings and artwork that give the place real character.
The two bedrooms are nice and comfortable. There’s one cosy double room and the second bedroom has a raised double bed and a single bed. Both rooms are complete with brand new beds and luxury bedding. The bathroom contains a hot shower and WC, with snuggly soft towels included.
Cooking dinner is nice and easy thanks to the fully equipped kitchen, which includes a dishwasher, kettle, toaster and breakfast bar, plus a full complement of cutlery and crockery. And the comfy living space has a big leather sofa, meaning you can cuddle up in front of the flat screen TV with your loved ones and enjoy an evening in. There’s also two further seats to make room for all the family.
The cabin also has a balcony at the back where there is bespoke outdoor seating, a Lazy Spa hot tub with lovely woodland views, and a BBQ. You can also enjoy some al fresco dining in the warmer months on the outdoor table and chairs.
Located on Sandy Lane, Eirlys is only a short walk from stunning white sands and enormous dunes of this beautiful seaside destination. Wind your way down the path at the bottom of the garden to Southgate or Three Cliffs, less than 15 minutes away. Britain's first Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the Gower, where Eirlys is located, is truly unspoiled by new development. This area has many beaches that all lay untouched by modern standards, despite its many visitors in the summer months.
