Dating back to 1607, this old weaving house and oast has been lovingly refurbished, resulting in the cosy and luxury cottage, 4 Weaver's Cottage. Sleeping up to four guests, the cottage is located on a Kent farm which aims to be as eco-friendly as possible, surrounded by beautiful green scenery and gardens. With a mix of modern and traditional furnishings, the cottage oozes elegance and style, making it the perfect retreat for couples and small families. There is much to see and do in the local area, so whether your aim is to unwind and relax in a peaceful environment or to get out and explore Kent and East Sussex, you'll have plenty of choice.
This 17th Century building is an architectural feat, set in a truly idyllic location. 4 Weaver's Cottage has two bedrooms on the first floor, one king-size and one double, both beautifully decorated and dressed, with sumptuous bedding and cosy lighting. The bathroom is modern and sleek, with a walk-in shower, toilet and sink unit. On the ground floor you'll find a roomy living space with comfortable sofa and seating, as well as a lovely dining table with four chairs. Also in this open plan space is the kitchen, complete with everything you need to prepare and cook meals. Exposed wood beams and low ceilings complement the gorgeous decor, to bring you a delightful place to stay.
Located on Frame Farm, the owners are passionate about making their estate as sustainable as possible. With this comes a love for nature, with sheep grazing and an abundance of wildlife to spot. Footpaths and trails accessible from the site will take you on the most scenic Kent walks, including the High Weald Landscape. The local village of Benenden is a ten to fifteen minute walk away, with two excellent pubs to dine and drink at. Also in the local area you will find English vineyards, castles and plenty of historical sites, including many National Trust properties.
