The detail

Set in a quiet spot near the sea on the north coast of Cornwall, 1 Zeath is a contemporary holiday home, perfect for families. It’s just a 15 minute walk down to Polzeath beach and after a day enjoying the beautiful golden sands or a round of golf on one of the local links courses, sit out on the balcony with a cocktail or put your feet up in the stylish living room. Guests also have access to the facilities at The Point nearby, including a gym, swimming pool, tennis and padel courts and the beautiful 18 hole golf course.

The entrance to the house is on the first floor via a grand front door, leading through to an impressive hallway. The huge floor-to-ceiling windows at the other end of the house draw you through to the contemporary open-plan living, kitchen and dining area. Snuggle up on the enormous corner sofa and get stuck into a game of cards in the evening or rustle up a feast for the family in the well-equipped kitchen. On sunny days, you can open up the whole front of the house, extending your living space outside onto the balcony.

Head down the sleek staircase with its soft LED lighting and glass banisters to find the four bedrooms. The main bedroom has a super-king size bed, an ensuite bathroom and more bi-fold doors that stretch across the full width of one wall, leading out onto the lower terrace. There is also a twin room and two bedrooms that can be set up with king size doubles or two singles giving groups plenty of flexibility.

There’s plenty to see and do in the area, from long days lounging around at the beach or learning to surf, to exploring Rock nearby. You can catch a ferry across the Camel Estuary to Padstow and enjoy a meal at one of Rick Stein or Paul Ainsworth's restaurants. Remember to pack your walking boots and tackle a section of the South West Coastal path and you'll be rewarded with some spectacular views. Any keen golfers will want to try out some of the fantastic local courses such as The Point which is on your doorstep, or the famous St Enodoc down the road. A little further down the coast, there’s also Trevose Golf and Country Club which is surrounded by more fantastic beaches.
