Stay in the heart of Berlin's coolest neighbourhood Kreuzkolln at the Cat's Pajamas Hostel, with its mixture of rooms and dorms to cater for all group sizes.
This is a hostel but like you have never seen before, with modern wooden furnishings throughout and its stylish communal areas.
There are private rooms that can accommodate one person in a single, two in a double or twin, right up to four with a double bed and sofa bed combination, all with a private shower. Others can simply rent a bunk in a mixed dormitory that can sleep up to eight people.
The rooms are practical but with homely touches and ingenious ideas everywhere to make the guests' stay that little bit more memorable, with a boutique style and artistic influence everywhere you turn.
There are also large shared areas, including the lounge and TV room with a number of comfy sofas, the terrace and garden to enjoy the outside space, game room and the kitchen. There is always someone available on the 24-hour front desk as well to answer any questions that may arise.
Hermannplatiz Square and its underground station are located just 250 yards directly opposite the Cat's Pajamas Hostel, so getting around Germany's capital couldn't be easier. However, in Kreuzkolln itself there is so much going on that guests have so many options right on their doorstep.
The surrounding areas of Kreuzberg and Neukolln also offer some of the best dining and drinking opportunities in Berlin, with its array of restaurants, bars, cafes and markets.
With such good transport links those staying at the hostel can be at some of the city's most famous cultural and historical landmarks in no time at all. For example, the Brandenburg Gate, German Historical Museum, Gendarmenmarkt and Checkpoint Charlie are all less than three miles from the property.
For those who prefer a little more retail therapy, then there is also the Friedrichstraße, the major shopping street in central Berlin. Those that want the more natural side of the city could always take a boat trip down the Landwehrkanal - the canal that runs parallel with the Spree River.
