This beautiful, bespoke serviced apartment sits in a stunning Victorian property that was built in the 1800s and has been fully refurbished to highlight its traditional heritage while blending modern comforts. Situated near the famous Loch Ness in the Scottish Highlands, the apartment was once the hotel laundry, but now provides couples a cosy romantic retreat in this magical part of Scotland.
The one bedroom apartment offers self-catering accommodation on the banks of Loch Ness and has its own private entrance to the rear of the property. When you step inside, you’re presented with a stunning apartment that makes use of classy wallpaper, carefully selected antiques and fabulous artwork throughout. Add to this the lighting that was reclaimed from the refurbishment of Aberdeen’s historic Music Hall and you’ve got a supremely stylish home from home.
Guests can get comfy on the Chesterfield sofa with a good book or switch on the TV and settle in for a movie night. When it comes to meal times, you can whip up a delicious feast in the nicely equipped kitchen that has all the necessary appliances and utensils required for a relaxing stay.
When bedtime beckons, the apartment’s super-king size bed guarantees guests a great night’s sleep and can also be arranged as twin beds if necessary, offering plenty of flexibility. The apartment’s shower room is as stylish as the rest of the home and makes use of Victorian-style porcelain fixtures. You will also be provided with towels and complimentary toiletries for the duration of your stay.
The apartment also has a writing desk/work area and complimentary WiFi, so anyone needing to catch up on some work or check their emails will be easily accommodated.
Guests staying in the apartment can also enjoy access to the garden and use of the public rooms at Foyers Lodge. So be sure to visit the shared Dining Room for dinner or perhaps enjoy a drink from the bar by the Drawing Room window which looks out across Loch Ness!
If you wish to venture out, there’s plenty to see and do in the area. Foyers Lodge can be found on the south side of Loch Ness, which is regarded as the quieter side of this famous lake. It is the ideal spot for a peaceful break, with woodland walks and awe-inspiring views all around. The village of Foyers is just one mile from the lodge itself, where there are some local amenities. The beautiful Foyers Falls waterfall trail is certainly one to explore for keen hikers, and nearby you will also find the historic Urquhart Castle. And of course, you'll be in the right place if you fancy a spot of monster spotting down below.
