• The cottage features a utility room with a washing machine and dryer together with iron and ironing board and a freezer.
• One bedroom has a height to a beam of six foot and another requires you to a step over a low beam in order to access the ensuite bathroom.

As you enter you’ll be greeted by the stylish and comfy open-plan living area, where exposed beams and hardwood floors combine nicely with the modern amenities and huge windows that flood the space with natural light. Lovingly renovated, this space makes use of many of the cottage’s original features, whilst utilising contemporary additions to ensure you have a comfortable stay.

Guests will love socialising in this huge open plan space, which has high ceilings and comfy seating in the lounge area. Gather here with a glass of wine and enjoy a movie night on the smart TV. The open plan living area also features a super-modern kitchen with all the amenities that you’ll need to whip up delicious meals throughout your stay. The kitchen also features a kitchen island with bar stools, so you can sit with a glass of something tasty and keep the designated chef company whilst they work away.

Dine in the open plan area or enjoy more formal dinners in the rustic dining room in the old cottage, that has a beautiful fireplace that dates back to 1590! Or, when the weather’s warm, dine alfresco in the pretty garden whilst taking in your peaceful surroundings. As you step out into the huge garden and meadow, you can soak up the sunshine in the fresh air and make the most of the gorgeous riverfront setting.

Back inside, kids will adore the loft area above the living room, where they can hide from the adults and have hours of fun on the bean bags playing board games together.

After dinner, when bedtime beckons, West Farm Cottage offers five comfortable bedrooms that guarantee a peaceful night’s sleep. Crooked walls and exposed beams give these bedrooms plenty of rural charm, which is sure to make your stay extra special. Three of the bedrooms are ensuite and feature super-king size beds, which can be made up as twins if needed. Then there is one bedroom that features a king size bed and one with a set of two twin beds.

In addition to the ensuite bathrooms, the cottage has a family bathroom that features a luxurious soaker tub where you can enjoy an indulgent soak and a separate walk-in shower.

West Farm Cottage is tucked away in the charming town of Godmanchester, approximately 18 miles from the historic city of Cambridge. This idyllic town graces the banks of the River Ouse, and is enveloped by stunning countryside, making it a perfect haven for those seeking to immerse themselves in the region's unspoiled natural surroundings.
