Set on the Portuguese coast, just a few kilometers from the beach, this contemporary villa is perfect for families or groups of friends looking for a relaxing retreat in the sun. Away from the hustle and bustle and with its own pool and large outdoor dining space, you can enjoy outdoor living along with plenty of peace and tranquility. After a refreshing morning swim, tuck into coffee and pastries out on the terrace before heading down to the beach. Enjoy lazy afternoons soaking up the sun by the pool before gathering around the outdoor dining table for dinner under the stars.
Villa Jacarandá is bright and airy, combining contemporary design with traditional wooden Comporta roofs and large covered outdoor spaces. Inside you’ll find stylish, open plan living areas with uncluttered furnishings and natural light filtering in through large sliding doors. The kitchen is equipped for everything from a quick breakfast to hosting the private chef that can be arranged for special occasions.
There are five bedrooms, four doubles and a bunk room, sleeping up to 10 guests in total. They are all relaxing spaces, decorated in white with splashes of colour and natural wood detailing. Large glass doors lead straight out into the garden so you can step out of bed in the morning and head to the pool for a refreshing swim.
Outside, there’s a spacious covered area with a dining table, so you can enjoy meals alfresco away from the heat of the sun. Spend long afternoons relaxing in the shade with a book or on a lounger by the pool. In the summer months, you’ll be able to sit out late into the evening, eating dinner outside and stargazing with a glass of wine.
The villa is located just two kilometres from the closest beaches, Praia do Carvalhal and Praia do Pego. Both are big sweeping beaches with white sands and calm blue seas. It’s just a short walk to the closest shops and restaurants and there are also several golf courses less than half an hour away. Villa Jacarandá is located just down the coast from Lisbon. It’s about an hour and a half in the car to the city, just close enough for a day trip. You can visit some of Portugal’s best galleries and museums, ride the iconic yellow trams and sip coffee and eat pastel de nata’s while watching the city bustle past.
