Offering premium comfort and excellent value, Uncle Loy’s has a selection of individually designed rooms. All are air-conditioned, with a TV, Wi-Fi, shower and workspace. The simplest options include the ‘Banana’, ‘Mango’, ‘Watermelon’ and ‘Mangosteen’ rooms, each one thoughtfully styled in a way which will make you feel instantly at home. Each of these rooms features twin beds.

The ‘Coconut’ room has a queen-size double bed and seating area, while the luxurious ‘White’ room, the largest on offer, features a balcony with table and chairs and will truly impress. The house has attractive communal spaces both inside and out where you can relax, and essentials like Wi-Fi, laundry and luggage storage are all taken care of as well.

When you disembark, you’ll be within a short walk of the majestic Grand Palace, Pho Temple and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, while pretty Nagaraphirom Park provides a relaxing area of green right by the water’s edge.

You won’t even need to cross the water to see the eye-catching ‘Wat Arun’, or Temple of Dawn, as it’s just a 15-minute walk from Uncle Loy’s. Even closer, Wang Lang Market is a handy place to snag bargain, selling almost anything you can think of – a true Thai experience.
