Everything about Ty Cefn has been designed and built to create a no-compromise aesthetic which emphasises comfort, luxury and enjoyment. The house itself is large, having started life as a farmhouse, and now features six full double bedrooms, each with their own bathroom. There are also plenty of communal spaces and reception rooms, making this a great choice for multi-generational groups, or parties where some guests need to work from home during their stay.
As well as the top of the range kitchen which boasts everything that even the most ambitious home cooks could need, there is a second kitchen, with the option to arrange catering with a private chef, via the owners. Inside, you can eat in the purpose built dining room, great for raucous dinner parties, or in the more intimate lounge bar, while the outdoors space also boasts great spots for al fresco dinners. Housed in two acres of private grounds, the surrounding greenery has been manicured into a verdant and magnificent garden, with a south facing deck, a hot tub and a firepit.
Whether you're looking for a retreat with colleagues, a family reunion, a wedding or an excuse for an-all out get together, Ty Cefn is a house designed to have fun in. The property is ideally located for exploring the towns and villages of North and central Wales, as well as Shropshire over the border. The Brecon Beacons National Park is close by for fell-walking day trips, and Snowdonia is also within easy reach for mid-level walkers who want to climb Wales' highest mountain. For less physically vigorous excursions, the historic and quaint town of Montgomery is nearby, with its charming independent shops, great restaurants and storied past. Golfing enthusiasts should also head to Welshpool golf club, which boasts truly remarkable views of the plunging valleys.

Leave a reviewA family pre Christmas meet up-11 adults, a toddler and 3 dogs. Everyone thought the house was fabulous, even better than the photographs. Plenty of room for all, very stylish,minimalist decoration. I think we used all the facilities - hot tub, badminton court, cinema room and the "Hagrid Hut" to BBQ lamb on Sat night. Double dishwashers, double ovens, lots of worksurface to prepare. Beautifyl wooden table seating us all easily with 2 sides of glass full length windows so great views. Plenty of seating in the living room and an open fire so toasty warm. This has been a regular family meet up pre Christmas and over 9 visits and 5 different properties this is certainly the best. No one had to argue about sharing a bathroom-my nephew immediately requested the ono en-suite room so that the gorgeous bathroom would be his and his alone!!! All being well we will return next year. Thank you so much
