Close to the borders of Hampshire and Surrey, this stylish bed and breakfast is located by the waterside with idyllic views. It offers luxury and comfort, whilst retaining the tradition of a classic English country pub.

There are two options for accommodation consisting of a classic double room or a suite overlooking the garden. Each room is uniquely designed and decorated in a traditional style, with original features such as wooden beams overhead. The elegant suite also has its own balcony with outdoor seating, accessed through glass doors.

Every room is accompanied by a spacious and stylish en-suite bathroom with a shower and complimentary toiletries, as well as a flat screen TV and tea and coffee making facilities. Breakfast is served each morning to suit every taste, with the option of a full English, continental, or a buffet of assorted treats. This is served in the award-winning restaurant on the ground floor of The Anchor Inn, which later in the day serves decadent fine dining using locally sourced ingredients in the surroundings of a luxurious country pub.

Outside there is a terrace with furniture and barbecue facilities for those who want to make the most of alfresco dining when the weather is fine. Just two miles away is the South Downs - the National Park that sits between London and the south coast - with its iconic white chalk cliffs. As well as hundreds of miles of countryside there are also plenty of other sites to enjoy, including Seven Sisters Country Park and Goodwood Racecourse.

The market town of Farnham is situated around six miles from the pub. Known for its Georgian streets and rich history, it is home to a farmers’ market and a number of independent shops. For those seeking a little bit more vibrancy then Guildford is only 25 miles away and has excellent shopping and an array of places to eat and drink. Then to escape the hustle and bustle a stroll along the beautiful River Wey and its delightful towpaths and boat trips is the perfect way to relax and unwind.
