Experience the magic of a true glamping adventure at this exclusive Spanish campsite hidden in the heart of rural Catalonia. With four classic bell tents and a heavenly natural setting, it is a phenomenal place that has mesmerising vistas. Explore the rugged mountains or the enchanting woodland scenes, before curling up by the camp fire or having a picnic beneath the trees. Set on a traditional farmstead at the foothills of the dramatic Catalan Pyrenees, there are historic villages and inspirational landscapes just waiting to be seen.
The Forest Days camp is a nature-lovers paradise and is set in five hectares of untouched Spanish farmland. Adorned with lush, wild meadows and ancient oak trees, it is a tranquil place that offers complete and utter peace. Secret beauty spots are waiting to be discovered, while a handful of communal areas provide everyday home comforts.
The four spacious bell tents are made from pure cotton canvas and are cosy little sanctuaries in the depths of the forest. With a quality wood base and solar power technology, they have been expertly designed for the ultimate indulgence. Rustic, handmade furniture adds to their authentic character and is joined by a wood burning stove and a small gas cooker. Vintage bunting and paraffin lanterns are quirky little touches and hang playfully beside the sumptuous super-king size mattress.
Each of the tents is blissfully isolated and has its own captivating views of the remote Catalan farmland. A knotted wood table is perfect for al fresco dining, while the much-loved hammocks are ready for star-gazing. A wooden eco-toilet hut can also be found at each of the tents, and is a great alternative to walking to the shared shower shed. With hot showers, flushing toilets and electric points, the shower shed is a piece of camping luxury.
Catalonia is brimming with outstanding natural beauty and has flourishing pastoral fields dotted with pine-clad mountain peaks. Just 15 minutes away are rivers and cascading waterfalls offering idyllic wild swimming and kayaking opportunities. Forest and mountain paths entwine to create never-ending country walks. Other activities on offer include climbing, mountain biking and paragliding
Climb the stunning Busa cliffs to see panoramic views or head to the local lakes for a day of waterside activities. Charming little villages can be found amongst the winding roads and are joined by the bustling streets of Barcelona just an hour further on.
It’s an easy 1 hour 20min drive (roughly north west) from either Barcelona airport or the city centre. Forest Days is less than 2 hours from the main resorts of the Costa Brava) or Tarragona or southern France.
