This horsebox home is constructed from recycled materials, old pallets and a fallen beach tree and is perfect for a couple seeking some peace and quiet in the South Downs. You’ll wake up to the sounds of wildlife and birdsong and have direct access to walks and mountain biking routes straight from your doorstep. Inside, the abode is equipped with all the home comforts you could need, ensuring a stress-free stay from beginning to end.
Compact yet carefully considered, there is a seating area with a comfy sofa overlooking the garden and a wood-burning stove to keep the bolthole feeling intimate and cosy. This is a great place to curl up in front of the flames with a good book in winter, and when the weather's warm you can open the giant doors and let the outside in.
The living area also houses a quaint kitchenette with all the necessary equipment for knocking up light bites and a breakfast bar for perching with your tasty creations. A sleeping nook completes the space – head up the steps to the sumptuous double bed, guaranteeing an uninterrupted night’s sleep. A shower and a compost toilet are located separately from the property.
Outside is a small decked area with two chairs for soaking up the warm weather and plenty of space for enjoying a picnic on the grass. If you're keen to explore, Steyning town centre is only 15 minutes away by foot. Treat yourself to a crisp pint at the Chequer Inn pub or a hot chocolate at The Cobblestone Tea House, followed by a large portion of fish and chips. Should you fancy escaping to the seaside, Shoreham Beach is reached easily by car.
