Brecon Cottage is a delightful little bolthole a short walk from the town centre and within close proximity to all the natural beauty the Brecon Beacons has to offer. It would be absolutely perfect for two couples or a small family who enjoy big walks and breathtaking scenery.
The cottage has been cleverly designed to make the most of the space and the result is a cosy, warm and welcoming home where you can unwind with a glass of wine after a day of hiking and exploring.
The living room's exposed stone feature wall provides a rustic backdrop to the two brown leather sofas, pretty wooden furniture and toasty electric fire. The room is serene and peaceful, inviting you to pour a drink and settle down by the fire with a good book, or snuggle under a blanket and watch a film.
To the right of the front door is a dining nook with a table for four and bench seating where you can while away the evening over a nice meal cooked in the fully equipped modern kitchen situated just past the wooden stairwell. The cottage has the rather unique feature of a mini bar and you'll find a rack of wine on the wall in the dining area and a wine fridge in the kitchen.
The two bedrooms are up the stairwell and both are bijou and very cosy with double beds, award winning Emma mattresses and linens from The White Company to ensure a deep restorative sleep after all that fresh air.
And when you wake up in the morning you can make use of the large walk-in shower and indulge yourself with the opulent Bramley toiletries provided. Fluffy robes and towels from The White Company are also included for that extra touch of luxury. Help yourself to a coffee from the Nespresso machine and pop through the backdoor into the private garden where, on a clear day, you can see the top of Pen Y Fan!
It's a short stroll into town where you'll find plenty of shops, restaurants and lovely pubs like The Brecon Tap that specialises in ale and pies in cosy surroundings. And beyond that there is much to see and do! From the highly recommended Beacon Park Boats to the Brecon Canal Basin with some Black Mountain Activities to enjoy for the braver souls.
