The detail

A gloriously refreshing location all year around, 11 Barnaloft enjoys the most iconic views of all of St Ives. Sunsets and surfers, beach days and leisurely walks around the shops, cafes and galleries, everything is in easy reach from this stylish beach side home.

Entrance to the property is via a dedicated staircase, part of a classical apartment building sitting on the boundary of the scenic Porthmeor beach. The master bedroom commands full views over Porthmeor beach, a king size bed and built in wardrobes. The second bedroom has twin beds and ample storage with views over the rear courtyard.

The living area has to be the focal point of the property, the large windows give an impressive vista of the Atlantic, so sit back and watch the sea, wildlife and beach dwellers going to and fro. It would be remiss not to mention the famous Porthmeor sunsets! They are breathtaking regardless of the time of year, best enjoyed with a large glass of wine. The living space also contains two comfortable sofas, a dining table, 43 inch Smart TV and DVD player, hifi system and access to your private balcony with the same priceless views.

A well equipped kitchen has all the essentials you need to rustle up your own creations, but remember there are numerous amazing dining options in St Ives. An oven, hob, fridge, freezer and microwave are all here along with a Nespresso machine so you can enjoy a coffee on the balcony in the morning.

The bathroom has a bath with overhead shower, WC, heated towel rail, and wash basin.

The biggest draw to this property has to be the easy access to Porthmeor beach, in summer you can simply drift outside to the courtyard and there is a door specifically for residents directly opening onto the beach. In winter due to sand build up and storm protection you may need to access via the slipway a two to three minute walk away. The heart of the town is a two minute stroll away and Tate St Ives is located a little further up Porthmeor beach. Lastly, be sure to sample a cornish pasty, St Ives is famous for them!
